Run or Walk but definitely join us on September 25, 2010 for the 9th Annual Walk for the Children at Lindell Field in Forest Park St. Louis.
This year our Walk will feature its signature mile Walk for the Children. And back by popular demand is the Kids’ Fun Run! And we are even adding a 5K run, which was requested by many of our supporters!
The Walk for the Children brings our families and supporters together in a day filled with fun, friendship and hope as we celebrate those we have lost and those who survive the challenges of pediatric cancer. Funds raised from the Walk directly support our families as they face the challenges of pediatric cancer: helping their child get to and from a treatment center, staying in touch with family far away, meeting insurance premiums and deductibles and helping to keep food on the table. The N.C.C.S. is there to support families in need, but we can’t do it without your help.
Our goal this year is to raise $75,000. As you complete your Walk registration, please be generous when setting your fundraising goal. We have tools available to help you get started and look forward to helping you reach your goal.
